SENNEBOGEN 817 E: Compact material handler for the waste industry

Specially developed for the needs of the recycling and waste industry, SENNEBOGEN is proud to present its smallest material handler to date – the 817 E-series. The green sorting specialist has a particularly compact and agile design and is also ideal for indoor use.

The new SENNEBOGEN 817 is a material handler that tidies up, sorts, moves material, is simple and compact and is therefore ideal for use in waste recycling. It is agile and compact, robust in continuous use and enables precise operation. With a bundle of equipment features available as standard, such as temperature-controlled fan drives, outstanding sound insulation and the tried-and-tested, reliable hydraulic system, the 817 copes extremely well with demanding conditions such as dust, heat and continuous loading.

With an operating weight of around 17 t, the new machine class is deliberately positioned below the existing SENNEBOGEN material handlers. With a length of 8 m or 9 m, the equipment variants are tailored to the requirements of the waste industry. When developing the new machine, the engineers focused particularly on ensuring that the equipment can be moved quickly and precisely. The 817 E will enable the operator to sort secondary raw materials more easily and quickly, separate out reusable materials and work efficiently and economically in plant feeding tasks. The machine can be equipped with a sorting grab or multi-shell grab for this purpose. The compact material handler is also ideal for applications such as truck loading and operation in halls with a low ceiling height.

Compact dimensions and new height-adjustable Multicab

The machine is just 2.54 m wide, 4.61 m long and 3.20 m high. The cab is height-adjustable as standard and can bring the operator to a convenient eye height of 4.50 m, ensuring an ideal view of the work area at all times. With its all-round glazing in safety glass and large roof window, the new Multicab provides maximum operator comfort and the best possible viewing conditions. The comfort seat is flexibly mounted and the air conditioning system can be individually adjusted to create a pleasant working environment.

The new SENNEBOGEN 817 from the E-series is powered by a 92 kW diesel engine which complies with Tier 3a or 4 emission standards. Thanks to the intuitive SENCON control system and redesigned joysticks, the machine can be operated precisely and tailored perfectly to the needs of the operator and the work situation.
