Big Bags Minini for construction and steel industry

The Big Bag, internationally known as FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container), is a container consisting of sheets of polypropylene used for transporting and storing different quantities of various types of loose solid products.

Key player in the packaging field since 1928, Minini Spa has grown over the years in pace with the most innovative technology in the sector, thanks to its Big Bags.
Central among the values always guiding the company is environmental sustainability: for Minini being sustainable means living the change as a protagonist, making choices addressed to recycling and safer transport of hazardous substances.
For this reason, the company has opened up to two new sectors of activity: construction works and the iron & steel industry.
The construction or demolition of infrastructures requires the handling of sand, cement, soil, gravel, stones, bricks and wood in full respect of environmental standards for the disposal of debris.
The Iron & Steel industry can find a use for Big Bags all long the production chain: from transporting the raw material to the finished product but above all for the absolutely safe handling of slag and powders produced during the smelting process.
To answer these specific needs Minini proposes the “U-Body” and “Tubular 4-loop” Big Bags which are perfect for transporting waste materials and potentially hazardous substances.
