KOBELCO Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME), wholly owned by KOBELCO Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Japan and dedicated to the sales and service of crawler excavators, demolition excavators and crawler cranes, ], is proud to announce the relocation of its headquarters to Lelystad, marking an exciting new chapter in the company’s growth and development.

The move, effective July 14, 2025, supports KCME’s continued expansion and commitment to innovation, sustainability, and improved accessibility. Lelystad’s strategic location, growing infrastructure, and dynamic business environment make it an ideal home for the next phase of the company’s journey.

The new headquarters, located at Minervaweg 95 - conveniently located next to the A6, will offer state-of-the-art facilities designed to support both current operations and future expansion, while also providing employees with a modern, accessible workspace in the heart of the Netherlands.

The new facility in Lelystad has been designed to include an expanded, high-efficiency parts warehouse. Integrated into the overall building concept, the warehouse is optimized to supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and support faster, more reliable delivery of components to customers and service partners throughout the region. With advanced inventory systems and streamlined logistics, it significantly enhances operational capacity and supports KCME’s continued growth in the European region.

The new headquarters will also feature a state-of-the-art Technical Training Center. This facility includes modern classrooms, a fully equipped workshop and  showroom, and a convention center to support hands-on training, and client demonstrations. In addition, the new location will feature a 3,500 m² outdoor demonstration area where equipment can be trialed and tested in real-world conditions. This space allows customers, partners, and trainees to experience the full capabilities of the machinery firsthand, supporting hands-on learning, product evaluation, and live demonstrations in a controlled environment tailored to operational needs. It reflects KCME’s commitment to knowledge-sharing, continuous education, and strengthening partnerships across its network.
