Metal Scrap Processing: Power and Precision with FOR REC’s New High-Performance Recycling Line
In today’s industrial landscape, efficient metal scrap processing is essential for both sustainability and profitability. Recycling is no longer seen as simple waste disposal, but as a strategic way to recover valuable raw materials and support the circular economy.
Achieving these goals requires advanced technologies capable of ensuring high productivity, operational continuity and superior material quality.
With decades of experience in the recycling industry, FOR REC designs and manufactures customized solutions for the processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its complete recycling lines are engineered to meet the specific requirements of each customer, delivering reliable performance even in the most demanding applications.
A recent installation highlights FOR REC’s expertise in metal recovery. Designed to process between 15 and 20 tons of material per hour, the plant combines the FX5000 rotary shear with the Z16 hammer mill. The FX5000 performs the primary size reduction of bulky metal scrap, offering high efficiency, reduced maintenance requirements and optimized energy consumption. The material is then refined by the Z16 hammer mill, which produces a uniform output ready for downstream separation processes.
Magnetic and eddy current separation systems complete the recycling process by accurately separating ferrous and non-ferrous fractions, maximizing material purity and market value.
The benefits are immediate and measurable: increased productivity, improved quality of recovered materials and long-term reliability. Thanks to the robust Made in Italy engineering of FOR REC equipment, customers can count on durable, high-performance solutions that reduce downtime and operating costs while maximizing resource recovery.
