Inventhor 6.2 with DoppBasket system redefines versatility

The Inventhor 6.2 from Doppstadt is a powerful symbol of efficiency and flexibility.

With the DoppBasket system, customers can expand their shredder’s range of applications. The newly developed fine-shredding-basket enables users to shred different materials into a defined target grain size in just one work step. The DoppBasket system is available in three different versions and can be retrofitted to existing machines.

“Our new DoppBasket system offers our customers even more efficient and versatile use of the INVENTHOR 6.2,” says Dominik Niehaus, Product manager at Doppstadt Umwelttechnik GmbH (DUG). “Users can shred various materials such as commercial waste, green waste or waste wood to a defined target grain size in just one work step.”

Efficient use, high flexibility and a long service life

The new basket system is quick and easy to fit and change. This allows users to react to changing conditions with maximum flexibility. The basket is movably mounted on the comb and opens automatically when it comes into contact with impurities to discharge them. Alternatively, operators can open the basket manually at any time.

The fine-shredding-baskets are made of wear-resistant steel (hardox) with a high sheet thickness. They are therefore particularly durable and robust. If a mesh basket wears out, users only need to replace the mesh plate and attach it to the existing change frame.

Three basket variants for different applications

The DoppBasket system is available in three main variants. The comb basket – fine and coarse – is ideal for avoiding unwanted overlengths. Its areas of application include commercial, bulky and household waste as well as green waste and special applications such as mattresses, tyres or carpets. The hexagon basket shows its strengths particularly in the fields of commercial, bulky and household waste as well as plastics and tyres. Doppstadt has designed the waste wood basket especially for processing waste wood in categories A1 to A4.

The development team has tested all basket variants in extensive practical tests, as Dominik Niehaus emphasises: "We have tested the DoppBasket system at our customers' premises in numerous areas of application. The results have completely convinced both us and our customers."

The DoppBasket system is available for new and existing machines. It can be retrofitted to both the INVENTHOR 6.2 and its predecessor, the INVENTHOR 6.
